Accelerated Summer/Spring Training Reaching Optimal Success

Our Astros Program features AAA teams, training, tournaments and a 3v3 league.

The Astros programs are new spring/summer elite training programs brought to you by Gentry Academy. Our programs are available to all players in the hockey community. We want to give talented youth hockey players the opportunity to train like the pros in the off-season using the world class resources and expertise of Gentry Academy's professional staff and facilities. Players can choose to participate in one, two or all three of the Astros spring/summer programs.

5S Training (Strength, speed, skate, shoot and skill)

Complete hockey training on-ice in skate, shoot and skill development trainings combined with intense off-ice workouts focusing on strength and speed. The 5S program is available to players June 12 through August 31 of 2017. The program will run weekdays Monday-Friday. Players have the ability to participate in all sessions. We recommend players attend three to four sessions per week. All 5S training will take place at the Vadnais Sports Center Complex and the Gentry Academy 5S training facility.

3v3 Elite League

High tempo offense, creativity, small area and fun are the hallmarks for the 3v3 Elite League experience. In our inaugural 2017 season, we are only accepting elite and talented youth hockey players to ensure a highly competitive experience. The 3v3 Elite League uses professional grade 3v3 hockey boards that transform the Vadnais Sports Center rink into two cross ice rinks.

AAA Clubs

A new spring/summer AAA elite option based out of the Northwest and Northeast metro arena. We want to give talented youth hockey players the opportunity to compete against local, national and international competition in the off-season. Additionally, we bring the staff and expertise of Gentry hockey academy to the team and game development of the hockey player. The AAA philosophy is that intense structured team training and competition challenges players to be their best.
